Retail Therapy - mouse trap by the capitalist societies

The main trap here is thinking that the most you'll have or the most you'll look outside, the filler you will feel inside.

What I find particularly striking here is treating this concept as a real therapy. Even as a joke I'd consider this a bad one.  Actually many people are struggleling with a life out of meaning, societies has no other ideologies rather than consumism in a competitive style. Nowadays consumism has reached a level which is even increasing NPD levels on the average people. Probably everyone is affected by some spectrum of NPD, but it is also shaped by the style of the education system and how it is oriented that allows it and indeed, is boosting that. 

This concept shows how the biggest fat fishes of capitalism who promotes this types of materialistic thoughts, don't see the average people as their fellow men. Instead of encouraging people to think more about themselves and their own realization, this type of not recommended lfiestyle is trying to inmmerse the citizens into an infinite bucle of consumism taking them away from their path to know and discovering themselves. Any person will never discover him or herself by just buying stuff they don't need.

Also I'd like to reference that, once that you have been seeking inside yourself enough, you'll discover that humans are much more similar to each others and simples than we really thought. But the society and the capitalist education has been guiding people for years into a mindset turning them to believe that they're completely different, while that difference between humans is more slighter than we think. Human being is naturally self-centered, and ego is the aspect of the psyché most fragile of the human, and in the same way, the easiest to manipulate. Hence you give a toy to a child, then he will prefer to play with it and rarely his original will shall be to share it with the other childs, to fix that behavior the people must be educated, and shaped to a way of life which makes them understand that the meaning of human is above the meaning of the material.

And reality shows us so, how many times have we seen demons-alike people without no human values that keeps soul-eating another persons in society, in order to scalate upper in the capitalist pyramid. So "retail therapy" can also be attached to this idea, the most you have, the most you're worth. Such a pathetic thinking! But the weirdest point is when you speak with any group of people, all of them are disagree with the side-effects of the capitalism. Then, which is the point why all the people are blinded with this?

Probably the first point is lack of ideology.

The concept of ideology serves the people and is from the people-to-the-people. When everyone has a common ideology, they realize themselves and become proud of being part of something bigger, and ideology even gives a big meaning to their common life. Even the smartest ones can be totally lost, when their society has a deep lack of ideology. When there is no ideology the people feel empty-inside resulting in existencial crisis. Most wise people feel like there is no path. As a result we have a mass following the wrong leaders. Leaders who are not even human, they don't exist, they're just hiding themselves behind big brands and those rich brands are the mask of darkest persons of capitalism. Once the people feel that emptiness, they will finally take wrong decisions for their life, just taking drugs, or other ways to decrease the meaning of a lifestyle that is completely empty. Finally we get a society very poor of meaning. Just to get an idea, imagine a father of a family who is encouraging their childs to fight between them with toxic dynamics, society is a big scale of a family and works in a very similar way. Hence a correct leader must teach the citizens and educate his childs to cooperate to become efficient and prosperous future, instead of destroying them.

So my dear reader, I encourage you thinking twice about this; What would give more meaning to your life? consumming what sort of things? Where do you find your freedom? is in an external object? From my perspective, freedom can't be defined by only one person, but freedom is in equality. Freedom is when ideology makes a society potentially bigger through their values, and not when a society is said what to consume to give its individuals a higher meaning of human being based on If they have more material things than their fellow-men.

Western societies are missing of a great leader, who is really interested in being a philantropic person, but the purpose of this one must be outside of the capitalist system, because philantropy as a concept makes no sense in a system which is essentially inequal to the people.
