Retail Therapy - mouse trap by the capitalist societies
The main trap here is thinking that the most you'll have or the most you'll look outside, the filler you will feel inside. Richest things that I have seen were inside of me. Silence, Thich Naht Hahn. What I find particularly striking here is treating this concept as a real therapy. Even as a joke I'd consider this a bad one. Actually many people are struggleling with a life out of meaning, societies has no other ideologies rather than consumism in a competitive style. Nowadays consumism has reached a level which is even increasing NPD levels on the average people. Probably everyone is affected by some spectrum of NPD, but it is also shaped by the style of the education system and how it is oriented that allows it and indeed, is boosting that. This concept shows how the biggest fat fishes of capitalism who promotes this types of materialistic thoughts, don't see the average people as their fellow men.
